EPD is a British company that started in 2005 constructing acrylic covers and framed displays for autographs and collectibles. It wasn’t until 2007 that EPD decided to focus primarily on the displays for movie props and related memorabilia, after the demand for this type of display solution had significantly risen. Having all the facilities in place, including laser technology, vacuum forming, a fully equipped construction workshop, and the all-important design experience, allowed us to offer an unlimited service in this field.

The team includes two qualified graphic designers and is led by Andy Simpson, the founder of MovieMania. Andy’s experience in movie prop preservation and exhibition contributes an added benefit to the displays we provide. We gather all the skills from each member of the team and use them to fulfil a bespoke product.

To date we have worked on items commanding a huge variety of shapes, sizes and complexities, from bullets and hair strands to wardrobe pieces and large scale production models. With every piece we work on it is our goal to achieve a solution which the prop looks completely comfortable inside as well as relating perfectly to the movie that it appeared in.
